He is my favorite NFL player. I got the jersey, the autographed Madden 08 game and the football cards with his hair follicles in them.

We all know the story, Vince Young almost retired because of the pressure this past offseason and now things have gone off the deep end.

Titans' fans booed him off the field to the point where he didn't want to come back out. Then Fisher chased him on the field and three plays later he hurts his knee.

Vince Young spent time with a psychologist on Monday before the crazy search was on for VY.

Jeff Fisher expressed concern about his emotional well being and contacted Metro Police.

According to the Tennesseean:

"According to Metro Police spokesman Don Aaron, Fisher had been alerted after a friend of Young’s contacted the coach around 7 p.m. Monday night. Young eventually made contact with Fisher, and the two met around midnight with Metro police officials at Baptist Sports Park. The psychologist informed the team that Young was extremely depressed and there was reason to be concerned about him."

AND:

"Young had a handgun in the glove compartment of his vehicle, but it was not loaded and Metro Police spokesman Don Aaron said officers had no concerns about Young trying to harm himself. It is not against the law in Tennessee to transport an unloaded firearm with no ammunation present in a motor vehicle, Aaron said."


Vince Young has a gun... The joke tells itself.


And it turns out that VY was eating chicken wings at Steve McNair's office in Nashville and watching Monday Night Football. So he was A-OKAY.

Isn't that the American Dream?
